We are a small cooperative working at the intersection of science communication, interactive systems, and decision-support tools.

Our studio is led by a two-person team: Johannes Stein (tech) and Dorota Orlof (design), combining structure and creativity.

The best way to decide if you’re interested in working together is to get in touch. We speak English, German and Polish.

We design and build participatory knowledge systems that allow experts and publics to jointly work on complex information. Our tools often serve multiple roles: scientists and institutions can structure and curate data, while practitioners and users explore them to inform real-world decisions, and to provide feedback to the researchers.

Whether through interactive maps, data-driven tools, or cross-media narratives, we focus on making knowledge understandable, usable, and responsive to the people who work with it.
